KATHAARSYS
Spanish trio with acoustic flourishes. Black, Death or Doom metal have inspired them while being open to progressive touches, acoustic or even rock.
It has been mainly in South America where the band has created an incredible expectation, although they've toured all over Europe (France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Spain), and shared dates with Romanian gods Negura Bunget, and released well received albums in France, U.K. Germany, Italy, Belgium, Holland, Romania, Mexico, USA, Japan and Korea.
One of only three UK dates on this latest whistlestop tour of northern Europe.

ASCENSION
Ascension are 5 men from across the UK, united under one dream. To conquer the world, and tear down the barriers of traditional power metal. Ascension have gained respect and great success, much more recently in its current lineup including gaining a slot at Metalfest UK.
Ascension have been destroying venues across the UK since 2004, and now in their most powerful lineup yet, intend to invade the rest of Europe, Japan and America, and show what Scotland has to offer the world of traditional Power Metal! Ascension have gained a reputation in the live metal scene, for outrageously powerful, and energetic live performances!

ALBA GU BRATH
Alba Gu Bràth are a folk / black metal band from the darkest forests of Scotland. They have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with bands such as Alestorm (SCO), Annwn (WAL), Enslaved (NOR), Krakow (NOR), Negura Bunget (ROM), Ravenage (ENG), Tyr (FO), Wodensthrone (ENG), and many, many more.

FARSEER
Central-Belt based Farseer Farseer play melodic metal appealing to fans of Gamma Ray, Iced Earth and Sabaton. Influenced by Running Wild, Lost Horizon, Blind Guardian, Gamma Ray, Persuader, Helloween, Sabaton, Priest, Maiden, Wintersun and others.

Which was the power metal band that had the topless bassist walking through the crowd at bout 11pm? I was quite impressed...that cant have been Ascension can it? They used to be rubbish
