ZED MACHINE Indafusion: “We come from Scotland and empty the animal trough-water of modern music onto the ashes of our broken hearts to allow our dejected cells to catch glimmers of hope in song! We meet in corridors and cottages.” They sing of space and elephants, and weave songs from tight harmonies and fuzzy pop guitars, and are simply bloody brilliant live. You’ll kick youself if you miss them. Honestly. Talking of which - Mexico are back! Two men who make more fiendish rock noise than any other duo you care to mention. Think Presidents of The USA, Foo Fighters, Muse, Winnebago Deal, Zebrahead, Blink 182... Except Mexico are far better. They absolutely slayed the Moorings last time. M.I.N.E. are a rock band. Who inconsideratley don’t have a wed presence. But they’re sorta proggy and they’ve been playing on and off for years. Catch them around 9.30pm. | |  NOOOOOOOOOO! heartbreaking stuff for me... "... the drummer broke his wrist at a gig last week. I know, the irony. Or just unfortunate coincidence. It's a total pisser cos if it was any other band i play with, I'd just get a stand in drummer, but with Mexico being two guys, it kinda has to be someone who knows the stuff inside out you know? Anyway it's with a heavy heart that i must proclaim Mexico out of the running on the 14th."
