  |  LOCAL MUSIC AWARDS featuring THE LORELEI with TYRANT LIZARD KINGS and SAMURAI FURY "A LOCAL AWARDS CEREMONY FOR LOCAL BANDS" Fudge - Promoters & DJs on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads The Fudge Awards 2009 will be held at The Lemon Tree in Aberdeen on Friday 13th February. It's our 9th annual awards shindig, featuring three live bands and a two-part awards ceremony (it's very tounge-in-cheek, don't worry), where we celebrate the best bands Aberdeen's had to offer over the past year. We've posted a series of polls online at www.aberdeen-music.com where you can vote for your favourites. There will also be voting slips available at Fudge gigs and clubnights until the show. There's already a fair bundle in. We'll total all these votes up and arrive at our winner... who will be announced before their star-struck fans at the Lemon Tree awards show, and have a chance to enter local messageboard forklore with a highly drunken acceptance speech. Hurrah! Entertaining you musically, we'll have live music on the night from local cow-poke-punk-rockers THE LORELEI, Edinburgh's fantastic stoner-rawk outfit THE TYRANT LIZARD KINGS, and heroic shred-metal merchants with a storming live show, SAMURAI FURY.
