nah, we played our first gig in april 2007. three of us use to be in bench but we don't class ourselves as the same band at all. don’t play any bench songs and we take this band more seriously than bench. regular practises, have bought good equipment, drummer more suited to what we do etc.

My favourite song by a Local band would have to be 'Orchard' by The Welfare Mothers. However I think they've been playin it for a wee while.

Best Live band for me is hard but I think Kartta win it by a whisker. Not often I can shoe gaze then dance my little flabby tits off in the same set.

Best new band. hmmmm....... would Fault And Fracture count? They only did one show last year and have only really established themselves recently?
