That's not really the case in this thread... it's more the fact that bands that aren't really playing many gigs at all are getting nominated rather than bands that are actually playing with some form of regularity (i.e more than twice in the last 12 months). i.e: Sultans of Cripple, Billy Ely and the Catnips, The Planateers etc.

In regards to my band... I can't say I'm shocked. Fudge have told me before that they don't hold my band in any sort of high-regard so it's perfectly understandable why we're not up for anything. In their position I wouldn't nominate bands I thought were shite.

i can remember seeing each of those bands except KLB more than twice this year............go figure.
