i voted the tunnels as it sells leffe in those fancy glasses. and it's ace.

the moorings is also good but doesn't sell belgian beer in gay little glasses. so it lost out. actually i think that says alot about the two venues. the tunnels has leffe and the moorings has that mental cider.

Damn! If you'd only have mentioned that before you voted, then we could have offered you a bottle of imported Belgian Delirium Tremens in a poofy little balloon glass which is decorated in pink elephants...

...seriously this glass does exist LMAO!

I forgot about drinks price. That's the tunnels only minus.

The Tunnels got my vote - it's the best live music venue from that selection in my humble opinion.

This is the vote for Best Venue last time I checked and not Best Club or Pub - so drinks prices and selection should be irrelevant if you ask me. You don't need to drink in order to see bands.

no but atmosphere is important in a venue and as such every little detail can count. obviously i'm not being entirely serious when i say i voted solely on which strong beverage the venues sell but even if i was it's the fudge awards. if you can't judge a fudge award on booze then the whole worlds turning to shit

Default moorings for me

Jeezo,
that was a hard choice, but I reckon the moorings, probably just cos when I was a bairn and heard rock for the first time, the moorings was the kind of place I imagined rockers going to, for socialising, talking about their hard weeks at work, listening to music and DRINKIN HUNNERS O JAGER AND ADDLESTONES!!!!!!!!! Sorry, I know the poll`s based on music venue and not drinking venue...but ADDLESTONES!!! ADDLESTONES!!!
Oh, and it`s bloody good when a good bands on and you get a wee heodbanging session at the front. tremendoso
