You must have gone for Zoey Van Goey in the newcomer list then surely.

Nah...I went for Findo Gask, as I used to like the name when my dad drove past the sign for the village of that name.

(I've a suspicion there used to be a folk oufit of that name a few decades ago, though).

Sorry Alan. I logged on to vote for you, but ended up voting for John B McKenna as he is my cousin and I didn't even know he was in the running.

Everyone check him out, he's a genius MySpace.com - John B McKenna - The Shire, UK - Indie / Electroacoustic / Lyrical - www.myspace.com/johnbmckenna

Findo Gask is Pictish for "The beautiful lady who lives in the valley" - according to my sister who lives near there.

Economical language or what?

I voted for you anyway Alan!

Cheers!!

I'm all for anything Pictish! I didn't know there were any words recorded. Now I can use the chat-up line...'My, but you're a Findo Gask'.....and see if the resulting violence is any more or less than usual

Ding!

That's my vote cast, and no need to cringe, Alan. You're well deserving of it.

Everything else was mostly made up of people I didn't recognise, but I felt it best to give the Kicks and the Twilight Sad some props.

I think I nominated Kitchen Cynics and Little Kicks actually. And some of the totally random choices on the poll at is this music? Especially the best international venue!
