Anyone had a listen to this yet? I downloaded yesterday, and I really like it. It's a lot more chilled out than previous albums, although they still have the rockier songs in it. It's had a few mixed reviews from hardcore LP fans, but I certainly think that it's a grower.
Stand out tracks for me are Given Up, Bleed It Out, No More Sorrow and In Between (Shinoda sings on this one). What I've done also stands out, but I heard it quite a few times now. I'm sure they'll eventually all be favourites but those are the ones that impacted on me in the first listen. |

Ugh, I'm loath to side with NME but so far I'm unimpressed. I heard that they said it was a big step forward for them, but to my untrained ear they sound the same as ever. However, I won't give up just yet, especially after hearing here that there is something worthwhile on it...
I think it might indeed be a grower ![]() |
