Just, just... wow. What a phenomenal show. Can't think of any better word to describe it. Seriously fantastic performances all round, some utterly amazing improvs from the Sax + Trombone players, stunning musicianship. Jools himself was great, as were the 2 guest singers Sam Brown (?) and Ruby Turner (?).

Fantastic, best gig Aberdeen's seen in a long time, the atmosphere in the room was just overwhelming.

The support act (who wasn't actually included in the broadcast), Edwina Hayes, was also super - great voice. Very Eva Cassidy. Liked it along. Bought her CD in fact.

I'm running out of superlatives, but I really cannot convey how brilliant this show was.

Whoever secured the Radio 2 events for Aberdeen was a genius.

I've seen Sam a few times solo, she is a phenomenal singer, she was the backing singer for Pink Floyd I believe and is the singer that most of the main record labels get to go in and sing the 10 ten hits, that are then sung over by the girl bands.

Yep, great show all round, managed to get two spare tickets at the last minute, result.

Would have been funny if the power cut had happened between 9 and 10 though.
