Default The Billy Shears Band

Wow...anyone seen them last night? Now I'm not one for tribute bands but....well to hear a band playing Beatles songs for as long as they did, there really can be nothing better ...so many classics! And George Harrison was there. He's not really dead...he plays in the Billy Shears band. Honest. What a guy

The Billy Shears band have been playing for well over 12 years.

Yeah, I've seen them a few times too. They are amazing, the lead singer even moves his head like Sir Paul.

One of them is called Mr Michael, because his son Paul used to be in my class. I believe his other son is Justin (of Solinus fame....)

Best tribute band I've ever seen.
Although that may change when I go see limehouse lizzy...

i wouldn't say they are the best tribute band i've seen (the LA Doors get my vote) but i agree that they were brilliant.

They are great, I saw them ages ago and I believe they played at my uncle's 50th birthday.

However, I still think The Bootleg Beatles are the ultimate Beatles tribute band...absoloutely spot on.

The George Harrison dude is also in Hedgehog Pie along with my Dad and Uncle. His son plays in the Needles. Justin's (Solinus) Dad is also in Hedgehog Pie.
