it's for the neck but not really caring if its meant for another position.
single coil and alnico magnets are my only criteria.

i have an old/spare set of fenix 1982 reissue single coils they worked last time i used them about a year ago but as i said they are untested

if ur intresteed u cn have the set for £15 quid if tht sounds reasonable enough
rather get rid of the set than the single one

let me know if ur intrested they were really nice pickups if i remember correctly its been so long since ive used them... they should still work i replaced them with emg dg20s and kept them as backups but a year later no problems
