Default Bass amp head WANTED

Hi there,

Am looking to upgrade my bass amp rig. Looking to purchase and amp head around the 325W @ 4 Ohms range.

Something like one of these would be perfect:

Hartke HA3500 (GAK)

Ashdown - ABM300-EVO-II,Ashdown ABM300EVOII

If any one has anything that they think might interest me, please give me a shout!

thanks

Steve

really?

well, everyone is different, BUT, i can guarantee, that eventually, you will get rid of the Hartke, or the Ashdown because they are very 1 dimensional amps.

But anyways, your opinion, try and get the hartke, i think they are better than the ashdowns.

i know its out of your range but scotty is right, hartke or ashdown (given that i know your sound) is not a long term solution

Yeah Its not something that I am planning on using long term though... Just something decent that I can use for gigs over the next 2 years. When I need something better I will hopefully sell it and buy something more substantial.

I have used both the hartke and Evo heads and remember quite liking the sound they gave. Could any one recommend an alternative (bearing in mind price range!)?

Cheers

A little over your budget but worth stretching for , would you consider an Ashdown ABM 500 Evo II , early model made in UK (much better than the newer made in who knows where land)

As new condition , comes complete with ashdown branded dust cover £350

If you buy it along with the cab I have posted in your other thread you get both for £550
