ha ha.

I couldn't really afford to lose any money, so just put the initial price at the minimum I'd be happy with. The new amp I'm getting was 400. Plus I have ways and means of getting shipping for a lot less than 25 (good to have friends who work in the guitar shop)

I did expect a few more bids, cos it was a cracking amp and the new box for it was smart.

But, no biggie.

Craig

I maybe thought I'd get more, but I got enough to buy a new, better amplifier and have a couple of quid change left over.

i thikn if anythign the problem was the fact it used to be a combo you had rehoused, as that takes away any vintage value or collectability it may have had, regardless of the fact it was done by marshall...

hows the ENGL anyway?

The ENGL rips.

Those Marshalls aren't really "vintage" anyway, just old ones, that sound good.
I don't think the re-housing thing is a big thing as for affecting it's value. It's still a 1978 JMP head.
