I got one secondhand last year for 40 quid, but that was a bargian expect to pick one up second hand for about 200-250.new for 300 -350.

Our drummer has a very nice and quite big swingstar. Nice kit. I'll ask him where he got it as he got a good deal. Bruce Millars and RnB's both stock Tama kits I believe.

Not really. Well not the swing star as I am sure it features at the bottom of the range though with recently revised specs. It's a boomy fucker of a kit. We played with Atom and some other bands in a local hall many a year ago and they were complaining about not being able to hear the amps on stage over the kit.

lol, but they sound great, no? the only problem with using it is my neighbours are twats so i'd have to find somewhere other than home to practice

Tamas are ace, two of the worlds best drummers use them (Mike Portnoy & Neil Peart)

Tama are qutie a good make but i much prefer Ludwig and Sonor
very under rated kit and the hardware is amazing

plus they can come very cheap
