Default Who has the best metal guitar sound ever?

Some notable faves of mine

Dime (RIP)- Solid! The end of Domination! phew, Dean guitars with Randall although he did use Cranks

Devin Townsend, SYL, EMG Pickups, ESP guitars, Mesa Boogie and Peavey 5150 amps.

Hetfield- ESP Guitars, not sure what amps

Mustaine- I liked the Rust in Peace and Countdown guitar sounds the best, Jackson guitars now using ESP's

Matt Harvey(Exhumed) - His sound is very reminiscent of the early 80's Death metal buzzsaw sound.Perfect Grind Tone. Check out the GORE METAL for a prime example of how to sound nasty

Bill Steer(Carcass) - Well what cant i say about this guys sound.Just check Necroticsim(Descanting The Inscalubrious)

I was 50/50 on it. I loved: PBGA, Kids of the Century, Mankind, The Chance, Number 1

But I wasn't overly keen on the other tracks

I wasn't overly keen on Kai. I mean he was good, but I preferred Michael's songs and I found Michael's solos more melodic, whereas Kai's were wankier, and Michael's Helloween still kick the stuffing out of Gamma Ray
