November 8th (SAT) in Dr Drakes. 7pm start. 4 bands. £6 adv (stbf) +14's welcome
Darkest Hour play their hardcore in an At The Gates style, but possibly slightly more progressive. Their latest album on Victory (Earth Crisis, Atreyu, Thursday, Minus, Waterdown, etc)features guest appearances by 1 of the Bjorler brothers aswell as Mr Thomas Lindberg. The Sadist Nation @ mp3.com For The Soul of the Saviour.mp3 Darkest Hour website The Great Deceiver strangely enough have Mr Thomas Lindberg (ex-At The Gates) on vocals. They're debut ep was released on Trustkill (Poison The Well, Bleeding Through, Hopesfall, Nora) in the US. Previous and forthcoming albums are on Peaceville (Charger, At The Gates etc). Their sound is very peculiar, a kind of psychadelic hardcore/nu-metal combination. Support comes from Madman Is Absolute & Broken Oath ticket price is to be £6 in adv. and will be printed and on sale within a week. prolly from the venue and 1 up in aberdeen. i'll post again when the tickets are in. *you may have seen this pic in a recent issue of terrorizer with an interview of Darkest Hour |

unfortunately The Darkest Hour have had to cancel the rest of their european tour due to a family death so wont be appearing on this bill....
Gav and Paul will keep us informed as to whats happening with The Great Deceiver, and if that is affected there will still be a top class bill of scottish metal happenin on this night so dont worry... ![]() keep yer eyes peeled |
