New General Subforum Idea

Travel and Tourism or something to that effect, with the amount of student on here it would probably work

Discussion of Visits to local castles, places of interest
Discussions about hostels, hotels, people to stay with
Discussions about camping equipment
Discussions about gap year, help with planning it
Discussions about your last gig destination
or even last years holiday

Just an idea, I would definately use it

sounds pretty good. especially with the amount of :

"whats good in ****"
"wheres best place to go in ****" etc

questions on the main general discussion baord

Yeah definately.

This would be an excellent addition to the forum.

I was going to edinburgh the other week and didn't have a clue where the best pubs were etc, but some people on here were really helpful.

I don't think there's nearly enough of these topics for it to warrant a new forum. And if we filter everything into subforums then there's going to be nothing left for general discussion.

There are other places but many are blatently pushing a commercial/advertising angle or populated by some truly jaw-droppingly ill-informed posters & cater to the likes of Americans who think we are still back in the days of Bonnie Prince Charlie.

Aberdeen music is head & shoulders above many of them in so many ways & yes, much of the travel advice I've seen given here is of top-quality already.
