Is it possible to have all the posts on one page, rather than say four, so you could view all hte posts an dthen just scroll down the page?

Yeah, do it somewhere in the control panel bit.

Yip, 'Options' - 'Control Panel' - 'Edit Options' - 'Thread Display Options'. You can set the number of posts per page.
