feel free to close this thread as soon as i've posted it, but, re-read the goth thread with a more open mind and you will see exactly how revoltingly prejudiced so many people on this board are. they need to be told it too.

I am fighting this ignorant 'bux' on very real issues of prejudice which should not exist. i would be very happy to address anyone else on any funny views they have on the subject, because i very strongly believe them to be wrong and disgusting individuals and i'm not one to stand back and tolerate them. People are valid in all avenues of thought and dogma, and if you wish to be respected and live a decent life, you must afford other people the same luxuary. i just couldn't let it lie.

Right there. That's where discussions go wrong. If you wish to discuss these matters on the site, do so in a mature and polite fashion. Both of you were hurling insults at each other, and the other contributors to the thread weren't making any kind of insightful points that added to the discussion either. Even if I'd deleted all the posts that had broken site rules in that thread it would still paint a pretty poor picture of the mentality of ab-music members.

If you wish to combat tolerance and ignorance, I suggest you adopt a more enlightened and level-headed tone in your discussions in future, otherwise you make yourself sound as bad as the people you are arguing with.

But fair enough. i appreciate you don't like the sweary bits and i'm quite happy to conduct enlightened debate with whoever wants to challenge me. re-read my posts and remove the cunt bits, and you'll find very valid and well expressed points.

To be honest, you'd be better worrying about the horribly prejudiced views so often expressed on this website than the language they are expressed in. Think about that.

I cannot and will not ignore people like this 'bux' and their ugly thoughts.

I aint prejudice or racist or homophobic. I don't have ugly thoughts... only opinions that I feel are right. I have said that if you wish to avoid them, then feel free to do so. I was having a laugh at the Goths because I don't understand them, it doesn't mean I dont get a opinion on them, just as you have an opinion on me being ignorant when you dont even know who I am or what I stand for.

Let me just clear things up here and now.. If you feel that my comments were unjust then go find a staff member and Im sure they will sort it out.. If you cannot and will not ignore people's opinons based on humour, albeit dry, then what do you want from AM? People will speak their minds and if the opinion isn't on your level of expectancy then I suggest that you leave and find a more appropriate place to get opinions more to your liking and understanding.

I do apologise for arguing with you, but my opinion is just that and no-one has the right to infringe on it. So I think you should take a step back look at the overall picture and once perspective is gained on what is actually going on then you will realise that my opinion is one of many dead petals on a thorny rose.

As for this thread being made to undermine my opinions and alert staff of any undoings that I make. I wouldn't mind if the 'prejudice' I was showing was real or related in some way to actuality of Society but frankly it aint. It's a cheap laugh that should be taking for what it is - A laugh. And Im terribly sorry if your humour doesn't stoop to my level and take on mask's of prejudic and social extremties that don't even need addressing in the manner you have shown.

But Im gonna open a debate thread - And I expect to see you there, without adopting the word 'Cunt'.
