I definately think an uploads section, with a first in, first out rolling selection of 5 tunes would be a good idea. i.e , the front page has a section which shows the 5 most recent tunes to be uploaded by bands, when a new one is added the oldest one drops off the list.
The feedback forum is good but not many people seem to pay attention to it, I think something like I've suggested would encourage people to think more about local music than threads about "eggs or bacon?" or spiderman.
There basically seems to be a mere handful of people who actually look at the feedback forum and listen to the tracks and post feedback, while everyone else doesn't give a fuck and are more interested in idle banter than music.
