Slow Hands in the Badlands is an unsigned four piece hard/
heavy rock band from Glasgow. Who are gigging and
recording as much as we can to turn our passion into our
career. Slow Hands in the Badlands sound is fresh, heavy,
dark and holds a groove that other acts just fail to match.

Led Zeppelin, Audioslave, Stereophonics, Wolfmother, the
Frattellis, RHCP, Jeff Buckley, Foo Fighters, Velvet Revolver.
These are the bands that inspire this Glasgow-based three-
piece. That’s them at the bottom right-hand corner.
And, apparently, they sound like: “Sex covered rock ‘n roll
with big chocolate nuts.”
You have to wonder what some of these bands have been
smoking, no?

“Guitar music... quite upbeat... occasional slowness for the
ladies,” is how they describe themselves. They listen to The
Smiths, Interpol, Suede, Hope Of The States, Pearl Jam,
Idlewild, Fugazi, Mogwai, Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, Sigur Ros,
John Lennon, Tool, Biffy Clyro, Brand New, Sandy Cohen...

Three guys from the shady parts of Aberdeen blending
influences from Punk and Rock to Reggae and Soul. They get
their sound from a general mix of The Clash, The Jam, The
Alarm, The Who, The Small Faces, The Stones, The Beatles,
U2, Oasis, and the 'Tamla Motown' sound.
