2004 saw Dundee’s Hazey Janes begin to make an impact in their hometown, their self-titled debut six-track release and farewell to tenement blues, soon spreading across Scotland. Later they recoded their first full-length LP – Hotel Radio – with Josh Rouse and Golden Smog Spanish producer Paco Loco. The new recording took the bands style in a new direction with warm harmonies and the fusing of the grand traditions of Scottish guitar-pop, Alt. Country and twee, that dips into Nuggets garage and Elephant Six-psych…

Played a gig with these guys on Saturday, brilliant. And sound guys and gal too.

free entry to dhc tonight with dirty pretty things tickets!

also a couple of other bands added to tonights line-up, stage time as follows:

doors - 9pm
kashmir red - 9.45pm
the chymes - 10.30pm
hazeys - 11.15pm
