Having first emerged as a member of San Francisco’s all-conquering invisibl skratch piklz (alongside D-Styles, Mixmaster Mike, Yoga Frog and Shortkut), Q-Bert has revolutionised the art of djing and become an ambassador for turntablists all over the world. DMC world champion three years in a row, it’s rumoured (falsely) that Q-Bert and his crew were banned from future competitions, the reason being other dj’s weren’t interested in entering a competition then considered a foregone conclusion. Instead, Q-Bert became a DMC judge. In 1998, along with Mixmaster Mike, Q-Bert was inducted into the DMC hall of fame.

He is also credited with releasing one of the first turntable concept albums, “Wave Twisters”. His deft scratching also appears on Kool Keith’s classic Dr Octagon LP. Other recordings include contributions on Bomb Hip-Hop’s “Return Of The DJ Vol.1” and “The Shiggar Fraggar Show Vol. 1”.*This is the very last show of his European tour!!
