The Word - Treat yourself! "Marvellous…his finest moment yet" The Observer - **** "Classic winsome loveliness" The Sunday Mail - **** www.myspace.com/kingcreosote The Pictish Trail
The Pictish Trail is Johnny Lynch, who has recorded his own material for the Fence label whilst contributing dozens of songs to numerous Fence Collective compilations. His album, Secret Soundz Vol. 1, blends folk-tinged acoustic songwriting with a quirky pop sensibility .
"Johnny Lynch the one man force behind the Pictish Trail, has spent much of the last few years helping friends and fellow fence members, like King Creosote and James Yorkston get their careers off the ground. Finally recording an album in his basement he reveals himself as a powerful songwriter in his own right. **** 4 STARS" MOJO www.myspace.com/pictishtrail |
