One of the hottest new acts in jazz, the Neil Cowley Trio are revitalising the piano, bass and drums line-up for the MP3 generation with an exciting, megadynamic style that acknowledges Radiohead’s influence as much as Erroll Garner’s tenderness. Already BBC Jazz Award winners for their brilliant debut album, Displaced, they have gone on to even greater things with the follow-up, Loud …Louder …Stop, wowing the Later with Jools Holland audience with a sensational performance. Following their Aberdeen Jazz Festival 2007 success, their return to the Blue Lamp is a guaranteed stonker.
