Hey guys, just to let you know, I am now the Bar Manager of the Donview Bar in the Bridge of Don.

It's a great wee place just over the Bridge itself and well worth popping in for a drink. It also has a cracking jukebox with everything from Kenny Rogers to Kyuss in it. I personally like to stick on a bit of Pendulum followed by Tool... the section of Finnish metal I avoid.

Come the 16th of March (if all goes well) the whole place will be closing for refurbishment. This should drastically improve the Bar area, while the Restaurant will be re-opening serving delicious Thai cuisine.

Since I don't like to sit around twiddling my thumbs I'm looking to get started on improving the entertainment situation now. I have much of this in the works already including open mic, karaoke, pub quizzes etc. but I'm also looking have covers bands, acoustic acts and even stand up nights at the bar.

Furthermore, until the Bar undergoes its refurbishment I have a "Restaurant" area doing absolutely nothing whatsoever. It's a smallish space that's marginally bigger than Club Sapphire (old Dr Drakes). If you have use for a space of this size on a temp or once off basis get in touch and I'm more than willing to discuss your requirements with you.
