It was fun while it lasted, but after I'd finished the storyline I felt absolutely no compulsion to complete the minor tasks. The features such as drunk driving and darts/pool/bowling are fun once or twice, but no reason to return to the game. The combat system, driving and radio stations are actually worse than San Andreas, and I can actually see myself going back to that before I revisit GTAIV.
I've gone back to Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, which also has massive flaws but also has enough scope to build up a unique style of gameplay. There's only one way to play GTAIV. I'm just biding my time until Spore comes out now.
