Vinyl controlled digital DJing
I have looked at a few solutions, Serato being the most desirable but by far most expensive, Torq being the cheapest package but not as good as Serato, and some smaller company developed software coupled up with Serato control vinyl & a generic soundcard with the appropriate number of ins & outs. I have now found a shop selling Torq, the accompanying audio interface AND the control vinyls for £99. Can anyone give me a decent reason for avoiding this choice? Even if the software isn't suitable (and there seem to be plenty of people on the internet who think it is), it's more or less cheaper than buying 'generic' soundcard & vinyls in itself. Thoughts?
