It doesn't do a promoter any favours by making statements like "Local band pulls out of gig, but will still be turning up" though - and making fun of it is probably the best way for them to realise their mistake.
Come on, now that MMW are turning up and not playing, you need to have a segregated VIP area for them to sit in!
