Saturday 10th November @ The Moorings
“HalfJack rose from the discarded remnants of pops childish
sensibility, classic rocks flamboyant pomposity, metals
aggressive insensitivity and funks all encompassing sexuality.
Together they created an unadulterated sound of unrestrain-
ed Rock ‘n’ Roll and have been showcasing it to unsuspecting
souls ever since.”
Scunner, then. Influenced by anything and everything, infused
with the crazed look of the rabid dog, and committed to their
art. A hint of cabaret, a whiff of Berlin, a dash of glamour.
Formed in the summer of 2005, Dick Dangerous and the Love
Bastards bring you their incredible concoction of good-time,
old-style rock'n'roll and great dollops of punk rock attitude!
“... a fucking hoot and they soon had the party atmosphere
set up in a heartbeat. Their style of ska punk meets rock’n’roll
was executed nicely with attitude and style.” - The Skinny
The Holy Folks are local loons Matt, Scott & Stewart. The secret
to their high energy acoustic pop sound is four hours of grazing
a day. Each has two stomachs and instead of producing milk
they produce chords.
