And if I could (and I can't because you don't have mod permissions) then I could show you all the posts that have been deleted in such circumstances. Because there is a hellava lot let me tell you.
We never claim to get it right all time, but in this particular instance Stripey's post was in poor taste and, more importantly, created to intentionally cause offence. I think I can speak for all the staff when I say we really can't be arsed putting up with that kind thing anymore. If that's how Stripey likes to get his kicks then fine, but he can do it on other forums elsewhere thanks very much.
