That said, playing The Moorings fills me with dread - they make you leave your gear in the cellar with loads of people coming and going, not good.

There's a bunch of specialist insurers who will cover your gear whether at home or out gigging etc.

I'm looking at this just now for insuring my gear......got an online quote from Allianz Cornhill for £165 to insure £6000 worth.....including losses from an unattended vehicle.

Not as expensive as I thought it would be.
