recently, i've been wondering about slayer and their emo-ness. you see, i always think of emo as being whiney and then i thought about the recorded works of slayer. all they seem to do is whine on and on and on about god and religion. now i understand that they've got other topics in there, like the nazi's and stuff, but greeting about religion is fairly standard fare for a slayer album. emo's greet on about stuff too, but even they occasionally seem to change the record and here we are, 24 years into their career, still greetin' about god.
so, i ask you: are slayer emo or are they just shite?
