I don't know what you mean about the drinks, surely if you drink JD and coke or whatever in a pub, it'll taste the same?
Maybe the reason you think it's been crap in the last few months is that most of the students have gone away for the holidays, wait a few weeks and the place will be full and back in the swing of things
